We are pleased to announce that we will be re-opening our doors to in person treatments starting on Monday June 1st, 2020 .
We are accepting appointment bookings now via our online booking system.
The necessary changes have been made to our clinic space to ensure the safety of our clients and staff as required by our governing body The BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and Worksafe BC.
These include the following:
Before your appointment:
Please wait for 14 days before making an appointment if you have travelled outside of British Columbia.
We are required to connect with you the day before your appointment to complete the BC Covid 19 Self-Assessment. We will also be completing the BC COVID-19 symptom self assessment tool daily as well.
This questionnaire will be reviewed & confirmed upon arrival before you’re appointment starts.
If you are experiencing ANY symptoms within the BC Covid 19 Self Assessment – including fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, or the loss of sense of smell, please stay home and contact 8-1-1.
It is important that you cancel your appointment. Please make cancellations or changes through our online booking system, by calling 250-941-5596 or via email.
No cancellation fee will be in effect.
We also ask that you have the same understanding should we need to cancel.
During your Appointment
Please arrive to your appointment alone and kindly wait outside the door until we unlock the door for you to come in.
Please bring your own water, if possible, as we will not have our tea and water available.
We will be taking a temperature reading with a handheld device that measures your temperature.
We will be practicing social distancing by staying outside the treatment room during your session.
Masks & Personal Protective Equipment
Masks are mandatory. If you have a mask please wear it to your appointment. If you don’t have a mask we will have one here for you.
We ask that you sanitize your hands upon entry to the clinic. Hand sanitizer will be provided.
We are committed to keeping the office as clean as possible, for our own health, and for yours.
We have taken steps to improve air safety for our clients by adding an in-room HEPA air purification unit that removes 99% of particulates. In combination with the building’s commercial air quality system, rest assured you will breathe very clean and pure air during your treatment session.
As per our required guidelines we will be constantly cleaning the reception area, bathrooms, treatment rooms, door handles and all frequently touched surfaces with professional grade cleaners approved by Health Canada to kill viruses.
These measures are designed to keep the risk of transmission as low as possible, while still providing excellent care.
That said, due to the nature of our work we can’t eliminate all risk.
If you’re uncomfortable with any of these measures, we encourage you to reach out to contact us and let us know how we might better serve you.
